Dr. Dr. Monica Esposito, DO

Dr. Esposito was raised in Boca Raton, Florida, where she lived with two loving parents and one younger brother. She completed her Undergraduate Bachelor’s in Biology at the University of Florida. She then received her doctorate in osteopathic medicine at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton. This was followed by a Residency in Family Medicine at St. Petersburg General Hospital, where she served as Chief Patient Advocate and Chief Resident. Dr. Esposito has had an interest in medicine from an early age, since her own near-miss issue when her younger brother nearly died at age 10 from a severe systemic infection. From then on, Dr. Esposito held a steadfast commitment to pursue her education and career path in medicine. She has worked for 5 years post-residency as an adult Primary Care Physician in the Tampa Bay area. However, she pursued a new business venture and opened Ascend Concierge Medicine. It has always been her goal to provide compassionate, personalized care for her patients in an unhurried fashion, and this new medical practice will emphasize those core values. Dr. Esposito has two young children and a loving husband serving the community as a Fire Captain. She enjoys remaining active with Latin dance, hiking, tennis, and general fitness and is a Tampa Bay sports fan. She is committed to remaining in the area long-term to provide a lasting relationship with her patients.
